At Project Partners, we are committed to making an impact against climate change. This isn’t about checking boxes or meeting corporate targets. It’s about doing what’s right and taking meaningful action, one step at a time.
We create positive impact by
- Delivering projects that support a low-carbon future
- Working toward becoming a carbon negative company
- Giving back through charitable donations
Becoming a Carbon Negative company
We define being Carbon Negative as having removed more CO2 from the atmosphere than we have put in it. Our approach is as follows:
1. We minimize emissions where we can by:
- Residential solar production
- Driving electric, cycling or using public transport when possible
- Extend the lifetime of electronics by buying refurbished phones and laptops
- Prevent single use plastics wherever possible
2. We estimate our total CO2e emissions
We use the Myclimate calculator to add up the impact of travel, office heating&electricity, data storage, meals, drinks and hotel nights.
3. We initiate actions that remove more CO2 from the atmosphere than emitted
In 2025, we ordered 1,200 trees to be planted in the Ashnola River Watershed through Tree Canada.

Emissions
We used the Myclimate calculator to estimate our total emissions: 13.9t CO2e.
Removals Initiated
1,200 trees planted. Tree Canada projects:
- A survival rate of 80%
- The surviving trees sequester on average 0.18t CO2e per tree after 80 years
- This leads to an expected Carbon removal of 172.7 t CO2e over 80 years
- We are assuming linear sequestration over 80 years, starting in 2026.
Charitable Donations
We intend to donate at least 5% of our gross revenue every year.
