Modo – define experiments
Modo carsharing has set itself a big goal: to electrify their fleet by 2030. But with over 1,000 vehicles in existing locations on the streets or in condo buildings, where do they need EV chargers? How many? What capacity? And what will be the challenges for their users? Project Partners helped – applying design thinking – identify the biggest challenges and devise a number of experiments. Most of these are currently (2024) being trialed.
“Project Partners helped us clearly pinpoint our biggest challenges. They led our team through a Design Thinking process which helped us understand our challenge and each other’s viewpoints. They helped us decide the next steps in our electrification journey.”
– Erin Sullivan, Director of Fleet Operations

7GEN – team review
7GEN has a clear mission: Deploy your electric fleet solutions, stress-free. Their focus is to deliver without disruption to operations, so their customers can stay focused on their core business. As their team has grown over the years, they were not sure if everyone’s potential was use the best way. Project Partners developed and led a workshop based on the ‘Working Genius’ method and helped each team member learn about their strengths and allergies. This helped the team to have more fun at work AND optimize their customer’s experience.
“Project Partners helped us understand what kind of work everyone is naturally good at. We now have a method to make sure the right people are involved to make decision, from a simple deployment to big strategic decisions.”
– Shayna Rector Bleeker, VP Strategic Partnerships

Unitrend Packaging
With the move into a new building, Unitrend Packaging wanted to install solar panels on the roof to offset electricity used. But with their focus on customer needs, nobody had the time or experience to investigate options or make a business case. Project Partners helped assess the viability, get quotes and create the business case for investment in renewable energy.
“Thanks to Project Partners, we now have a clear business case. They worked at our pace and with our people to get all our questions answered.”
– Carlor Urteaga, General Manager

Project Management – T-Hive
T-Hive is Toyota Industries Corporation’s (TICO) center of expertise in autonomous vehicle software. They work with TICO’s main logistic solutions providers to integrate autonomous solutions into traditional warehouse processes. When T-Hive required System Design thinking and Project Management they reached out to Project Partners to meet existing project challenges and to build up internal skills. Project Partners leveraged past experience at airports and other complex projects to analyse system performance requirements on 3 separate installations. They also guided the internal team through development meeting the project deadlines.
