Dr. Alicia Wongel

Alicia believes in doing the most good one can do as a guiding principle. For the energy transition, she believes the most effective path forward is rapid deployment of proven technologies alongside continued innovation, both of which she aims to support at Project Partners.

Alicia holds a doctorate in physics, where she explored some of nature’s deepest mysteries at the smallest scales. Driven by a motivation to apply her scientific skills to one of society’s biggest challenges, she became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Carnegie Science and Stanford University studying the feasibility of emerging clean energy technologies.

She brings technical and analytical skills to every project and enjoys supporting decision-making with rigorous, data-driven insights. She thrives in cross-functional, collaborative, and diverse team environments.

In her free time, Alicia plays floorball, a niche sport similar to ball hockey, and enjoys attending sporting events. She is a founding season ticket holder of the Vancouver Goldeneyes.
